美国IDEA奖全称是 ，美国工业设计优秀奖。IDEA由美国商业周刊（）主办、美国工业设计师协会IDSA（ of Am[1] erica）担任评审的工业设计竞赛。该奖项的设立于1979年，主要是颁发给已经发售的产品。虽然只有25年的历史，却有着不亚于iF的影响力。[2] 作为美国主持的唯一一项世界性工业设计大奖，自由创新的主题得到了很好的突出。每年由美国工业设计师协会从特定的工业领域选出顶级的产品设计，授予工业设计奖（IDEA），并公布于当期的商业周刊杂志。

IDEA自九十年代以来在全世界极具影响，每年的评奖与颁奖活动不仅成为美国制造业彰显设计成果最重要的事件，而且对世界其他国家的企业也产生了强大的吸引力。IDEA的作品作品不仅包括工业产品，而且也包括包装、软件、展示设计、概念设计等，包括9大类，47小类。

每年都会有上万的作品参加IDEA的评选，奖项分为金奖和银奖，从这些上万件的作品中，专家们会从中挑选出一百件左右的优秀作品，颁发给它们应有的荣誉。

日前，2019中国创新设计红星奖揭晓。本次红星奖参选产品达到6000多件，其中，曙光“硅立方”从6000多件参选产品中脱颖而出，获得该奖项。

在获奖评语上，“红星奖”主办方表示，“硅立方”采用浸没相变液冷技术，具有能效比高、通用性强、易运维管理、模块化设计等诸多优势。其PUE突破性降至1.04(全球数据中心PUE平均值为1.58)能效比提升超30%，并已成功大规模部署。

具体到产品上，在人机交互设计与工艺方面，“硅立方”系统框架采用模块化合金设计提升承重能力，门体及侧板采用中真空蜂窝芯工艺双层铝合金板，在保证平整度的同时提升系统整体温控和隔噪性能；计算模块节点采用铝镁合金压铸工艺，提升了节点稳定性保证了系统的正常运转。

设计创意上，“硅立方”计算节点呼吸指示灯符面板矩阵式排列，搭配门体蓝光电磁锁，映嵌曙光“星云”系列视觉艺术创作：红色星云图案与中国牡丹及敦煌飞天的造型元素相融合。

“红星奖”是中国设计界顶级奖项之一，该奖于2006年设立，由北京市科学技术委员会支持，中国工业设计协会、中国工业设计促进中心等联合发起，至今已评选13年，与德国“红点”、美国“IDEA奖”等设计奖齐名。自创立以来，“红星奖”促进了中国设计产业的发展，对中国设计国际化起到了推进作用，包括ARJ21 国产支线喷气式客机、新能源重型卡车、立式精密加工中心等国产产品获得过“红星奖”。
